If your Florida real estate license expiration date is approaching, you're likely working hard to complete your required continuing education (CE). Yet completing your CE does not renew your license. Good news—Empire Learning is here to make the renewal process simple and stress-free.

The Standard Renewal Process for Florida Licensees

First, it's essential to understand how the renewal process works:

  1. Complete your CE with a DBPR-approved CE provider.
  2. CE providers are required to report your completion to DBPR. DBPR's system typically updates within 24 hours of receiving the report. Empire Learning reports your credits the next business day.
  3. Log in to DBPR's My Florida License system to renew and pay your renewal fee anytime - even if your CE credits have not been reported or posted in their system.
    Missing credits will not prevent you from renewing online with DBPR.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email from DBPR. To also confirm that your license is renewed, log in to view your license status on DBPR's system anytime.

💡 Renewing with DBPR Before CE Credits Post

You can pay your license renewal fee with DBPR at any time—even before your CE credits have been reported to DBPR. Once renewal is available, log into the My Florida License website anytime to renew your license with DBPR. Your license will be renewed once the CE credits are processed in DBPR's system!
