How to Check Your Minnesota Real Estate License Expiration Date & CE Credits

Is your Minnesota real estate license still active? Does it expire June 30th of this year or next year? What CE credits have you completed and what do you need to do this year? Don’t worry—we’ve all been there! 😊 Keeping track of Minnesota real estate license expiration dates and annual continuing education (CE) requirements and completions can feel overwhelming, but there’s a simple way to stay on top of things.

Checking Your License Status & Expiration Date

The easiest way to see your license expiration date is to visit Pulse Portal. You can do a public search for your name to view your status and expiration date, or you can log into your Pulse Portal account for a more detailed look.

If you’d like to learn more about license renewal requirements straight from the source, head over to the MN Department of Commerce. You can even sign up for email updates to stay in the loop!

Checking Your CE Course Completions

Once you’re in Pulse Portal, click “Review your CE Transcript” to see how many hours you’ve completed. If you notice a course is missing from your transcript, you’ll need to contact the course provider directly—unfortunately, the Department of Commerce can’t help resolve that issue.

💡 Remember that you may not duplicate any course completions within a two-year renewal cycle. So, if your license expires this year, make sure that you do not enroll in or complete courses that you completed last year. These courses will be on your transcript in Pulse Portal.
