Pennsylvania Continuing Education Requirements
Pennsylvania real estate licensees are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education by May 31 of every even-numbered year.
For the 2020-2022 renewal cycle (5/31/22 CE deadline), the requirement is that a minimum of 3.5 hours of the required 14 hours of continuing education must be taken on the topics of Redlining, Steering, Implicit Bias, Diversity, and the Fair Housing Act. The coursework must be completed between Aug. 30, 2020 and May 31, 2022 in order to meet the requirement. All Empire Learning "Second and Subsequent Renewal" packages contain courses to meet the full requirements.
Licensees renewing for the first time must complete 14-hours of Commission-developed modules in order to renew their license. Our Pennsylvania: 14-Hour Mandatory First Renewal Course will satisfy the full requirement. First-time renewals do not need to satisfy the Redlining, Steering, Implicit Bias, Diversity, and the Fair Housing Act requirement.
