Renewal Information

After completing the continuing education requirements, your license can be renewed 90 days prior to your license expiration date by logging into the NY DOS eAccessNY portal.

NOTE: During the license renewal application, you will be asked if your continuing education requirements have been met. Make sure to select Yes if you have completed your CE requirements to avoid renewal holds. Selecting No, either on purpose on by accident, will delay the renewal process and require proof of CE before the license can be renewed.

NY DOS does perform random audits on a regular basis. If audited, you must provide your completion certificates, which must be dated before your renewal submission date with the state.
